Career Path High offers many different clubs for students. These clubs provide students to develop leadership skills, strengthen communication techniques, and learn new skills
Students may run for election to serve as student body officers. Our student government helps plan our monthly school activities, build school culture, and organize prom. Student body officers also earn credit elective credit for successfully completing their assigned duties. Elections are held in the fall. If you are interested, please contact the student government adviser, Mrs. Stevens.
Students can choose to participate on yearbook staff by selecting the course during registration. Yearbook meets every Friday morning. Students work together with their adviser to create a theme for the book, take photos, conduct interviews, and design the book. If you are interested in joining yearbook, please talk with the advisers, Mr. Haslem and Ms. Wagner.
HOSA focuses on supporting and developing future healthcare professionals. Students volunteer and participate in contests demonstrating their knowledge and skills in their chosen field. Students interested in participating can contact Ms. Funn.
SkillsUSA focuses on training and developing trade skills. Juniors and seniors have the opportunity to represent their program by competing in contests. Students interested in participating can contact Ms. Funn or their program instructor.
Come and learn about American Sign Language with our ASL club! We will be going over conversational sign language, learn more about Deaf culture, and look for chances to get involved in the Deaf community by providing opportunities and information to Deaf events. Learn a new language, make friends, and gain a new perspective! ASL Club meets on Tuesdays from 11:30 AM - 12 PM.
Join Mrs. Kobayashi and Ms. Funn for mindfulness and meditation on Mondays from 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM. Mindfulness is a powerful way to improve your focus, become more aware of your thoughts and needs, and help center yourself for a more productive and focused life.
Join Mrs. Perkins each Monday at 11:30 AM - 12 PM for some fun and mingle with your fellow classmates! We will be kicking off the season with a soccer match in the grassy area east of the institute building! Click HERE to complete the consent form.
Make new friends and learn some great strategy and critical thinking skills by participating in Chess Club. Mrs. Jackson leads this group from 11:30 - 12 PM on Wednesdays.
Spend your lunch with the Literature Club on Thursdays from 11 AM - 12 PM! This group is lead by Mr. Haslem, and they read novels together and discusses them.
Career Path High is lead by Mrs. Funn, and participating students are nominated by their peers. This group is focused on providing friendship and support to their peers in an effort to direct them to resources and help when they are in crises.
The Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is a student-run club which provides a safe place for students to meet, support one another, plan activities, and bring awareness to issues impacting them in their community and school. It is an all-inclusive group that promotes friendship and feelings of belonging in an effort to cultivate a safe environment for all of our Career Path High students.
