Strong Start Schedule
All new students to Career Path High will participate in “Strong Start.”
Students will attend the Learning Center daily for the first two weeks of their enrollment. At the end of the two week period, the new student will meet with his or her Success Coach to determine if the student may resume a flexible schedule.
Weekly PLP Meetings
Students attend weekly meetings with their Success Coach. During these meetings, student and coach review progress, set goals, and discuss learning strategies.
Career Path High uses NWEA’s MAP Assessment in order to monitor student growth. The first administration of the tests will happen during the first few days of school. The other interim assessments will occur on the following dates.
- November 15-16: Grades 9-11
- February 28 – March 1: Grades 9-10
Structured Support Plan
Students are placed on a Structured Support Plan when they fall two weeks behind in their course pacing.
Once placed on SSP, the Success Coach will work with the student to create a schedule and plan to help the student return to pace. Students are required to attend their scheduled days.
